We all procrastinate on some things, I will do it later, I will do it in 6 months and other excuses we make. The reality is that if we don’t like where we are now in life or we don’t like where our business is we need to take actions. We need to create a digital strategy and execute it, we need to engage with people online. Maybe you need to do other activities in your business like change your pricing or hire new people, I don’t know what it is but I’m sure that there are lots of things that we should do.
I hear a lot of potential clients saying ”Oh listen Alexander, I need to do this BUT I will do it later” after I complete something. You might say that I don’t discover the real objection or don’t follow some sales procedures. Maybe it’s that, but the reality is I don’t want to waste my time with people that don’t believe in digital marketing and don’t think beyond. Why would I spend my precious time convincing somebody that doesn’t believe in digital marketing? I prefer spending time with someone that believes in it and is willing to take the necessary steps to improve.
If you want to increase your sales and grow your business there are steps that you need to take. We all know that to build a brand requires hard work and strategy, especially with social media available to all of us. Our competitors are out there trying to gain market share, creating content, advertising and doing activities to grow, what are we doing about it? Are we writing blog articles, doing video blogs, sending newsletter campaigns, engaging on social? End of the day we can forget our competitors and think about ourselves, how can we improve and create more and more content. For me personally, it’s not about what my competition does, it’s about me being much more better than I was yesterday and becoming more better in the next 6 months.
You can postpone all day long your digital marketing activities, but I guarantee you in 1,2,3 or 6 months time it will be much more harder than it’s today.
